Description
Peak Blue DEF is a diesel exhaust fluid designed for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems used in modern diesel engines. This essential fluid helps diesel-powered vehicles and equipment reduce emissions by converting harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust stream into harmless nitrogen gas and water vapor, supporting compliance with EPA emissions standards.
DEF is not a fuel or fuel additive—it is a separate fluid injected into the exhaust system where it works with a catalyst to reduce emissions. Peak's formulation is a stable, nontoxic mixture of 67.5% purified deionized water and 32.5% high-purity synthetic urea, designed for safe handling by professionals and do-it-yourself users alike. The 2.5-gallon container provides convenient refilling for dosing equipment.
